Moel Siabod

A year in the life of a mountain

Siabod is our ‘local’ mountain and it’s the view you will get from Glyn Shepherds Hut. This is a collection of images made throughout the year to show how its appearance changes. The approximate English translation of Moel Siabod is "bare hill" which is a good description because at the summit there are rock fields strewn around. At 872 metres (2,861 ft), it is the highest peak in the Moelwynion mountain range.
